It is because works of art are stories and ‘revelations’ to be narrated, that – from January 2010 – Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana are going to hold a series of encounters with writers who will talk on themes relating to art. Within the context of the exhibition “Mapping the Studio”, writers of fiction and essays will recount their own personal experience as art lovers, as those whose visits to exhibitions are at times inspired by keen interest, at times by idle curiosity.
Each meeting will be part of an overall fresco. Bringing together different points of view, it will describe the power of the visual arts and their multiform impact upon the life, sensibility and work of writers.
