Peter Fischli e David Weiss

Peter Fischli and David Weiss are among the most celebrated partnerships in contemporary art. The two artists have worked together since the seventies, and are known for their ability to transform, analyse and revisit the meaning of things. Subverting the everyday and reinventing new possible universes, their work offers an escape from a reality that is often suffocating. Since the 1980s, their work has been led by the practice of creating copies of ordinary, everyday objects. Irreverent, imaginative, ironic, Fischli&Weiss have given life to a repertory of the absurd, rich in small revelations that transform reality. In their universe, every detail hides something magical and invites the viewer to see the world in a different way.

Their work was presented at Palazzo Grass in "Voice of Images" (2012) and at Punta della Dogana in "Mapping the Studio: Artists from the François Pinault Collection" (2009-2011) and in "Slip of the Tongue" (2015-2016).
