Atelier des Enfants
Atelier des Enfants with Driant Zeneli
C'era una volta... il Mose e la Medusa
Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October
Atelier des Enfants is a project dedicated to art and education and to the relationship between artistic practices and educational research. The first guest of this new programme is the artist and filmmaker Driant Zeneli (1983, Shkoder, Albania). His films, installations and performances investigate the artist’s attraction for illusions, failures, attempts and dreams or utopia as elements that generate alternative points of view. He has conceived a workshop dedicated to robotics as a discipline deeply related to the idea of utopia, in which humanities and sciences come together. Through drawings, sculpture and performances, the young participants will focus on the question of the interaction between man and machine.
The workshop is open to children aged from 7 to 11.
Saturday 23: from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 3.30 pm to 5 pm
Sunday 24: from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm
Participation is required for both days.
Cost: 20€ per child / 15€ for brothers/sisters

Atelier des Enfants with Quattrox4
The second guest of Atelier des Enfants is the contemporary circus company Quattrox4, which has been promoting contemporary circus as an artistic language since 2011. Contemporary circus emerged in the 1970s in France of a mix between physical theatre, circus disciplines and contemporary dance. Quattrox4 focuses on promoting and teaching acrobatic and circus disciplines to children and adults by working on the development of fine motor skills and by using the body as a means of expression and rediscovery of the relationship with the other.
The creative workshop is inspired by the Contrapposto, half-way between equilibrium, imitation fragility, and endurance.
On Saturday 18 December, Quattrox4 will perform for the visitors of Palazzo Grassi.
The workshop must be booked by sending an email to email@example.com by Friday 3 December 2021.
Duration: 90 minutes. The workshop also includes the visit of the exhibition.
Cost per class: 130 €
