Working closely with universities, Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana host a series of workshops and meetings for students and lectures that turn the galleries into places for discussion, thought and interdisciplinary exchange to contribute to the education of those attending in a free and creative way.

Museum interpreters

Every year, in order to implement the public's experience at the museum, Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana builds up a team of museum interpreters selected through an open call. They comment specific aspects of the ongoing exhibitions and interact with the visitors.

Guided tours - arte

Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana organise guided tours to the exhibitions. These tours encourage in-depth involvement and discussion, and foster active engagement between the public and the works on view.

All tours are available in Italian, English and French. Germand and Spanish upon request.
It is possible to request for free the presence of an Italian Sign Language interpreter.

Guided tours - architecture

It is possible to book a guided tour about the architecture of Punta della Dogana and of the Teatrino. These tours introduce the story of the building, covering the architectural history and focusing in particular on Tadao Ando’s restoration.
