Cultural Interpreters

Cultural Interpreters. Who are they?

On the occasion of the exhibitions 'Cows by the Water' and 'Dancing with Myself', Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana host a project of cultural mediation with the Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

Every day during the exhibition, a group of students enrolled at different Italian universities will be available in the museums to answer the visitors' questions. The cultural mediators are trained by the curatorial team of Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana and by professors of the Department of Philosophy and Culture of Ca' Foscari University.

Exchanging, listening, asking questions are the actions that represent the cultural mediators' presence. While the mediators are not guides, their interaction with the visitors establishes a stronger relationships with the works exhibited.
