The Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi hosts Cinemapocalissi, a two-day cycle of screenings that turns the Teatrino in a post-porn cinema. The project curated by Il Colorificio, a curatorial collective that explores the relationship and the non-normative representation of bodies and sexuality, is the fourth chapter of the association's annual programme entitled 'L'Ano Solare. A year-long programme on sex and self-display'.
On Thursday 8 October at 6.30 pm, Il Colorificio introduces the cycle. The presentation is followed by the screening of a selection of short films.
On Friday 9 October from 11 am to 11 pm, short, medium-length and full-length films by directors and artists who have gone over the limits of the mainstream porn device and question it as a single model.
The programme includes films by Kathy Acker e Alan Sondheim, AltSHIFT, Xavier Baert, Maria Basura, Amber Bemak, Cade, Marc Caro, PaulX Castello, Shu Lea Cheang, Colectivo CENEx, Linda Porn, Ediyporn, Lucía Egaña Rojas, Jean Genet, Tessa Hughes-Freeland, Barbara Hammer, Bruce LaBruce, Del LaGrace Volcano, Dylan Meade, Eric Pussyboy e Abigail GnashLlaveria, Joanna Rytel, Annie Sprinkle, Wong Ping.
Access to the event
Access is not permitted to under 18 year-olds.
Access to the Teatrino is free until capacity is reached. In line with the rules to prevent the spread of Covid, the capacity of the Teatrino has been reduced to guarantee a safe experience.
Doors open 30 minutes before the beginning of the event. Priority access for the Members of Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana.
