Masterclass with Yuri Ancarani, artist and filmmaker

Artist and filmmaker Yuri Ancarani conducts a new Masterclass for students and professionals interested in the moving image.

The Masterclass focuses on the analyses of short films directed by the artist and on debate and discussion. The participants will have the opportunity to exchange with the artist and develop critical thinking and analysis of the moving image.

Yuri Ancarani is an Italian artist and filmmaker. His works bring together documentary film and contemporary art and are the result of research often aimed at exploring little visible areas of our daily lives.

On Thursday 22 September at 5 pm, at the end of the first day of the Masterclass, the Teatrino will host the screening of Atlantide (104', 2021) by Yuri Ancarani, followed by a public talk with the artist, the psychoanalyst Marina Valcarenghi and the psychoanalyst and essayist Luigi Zoja.

How to participate to the Masterclass
The number of participants is limited. Registration is now closed.

Cost: 50€. Each participants will receive a Membership Card of Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana.
Participation is free for those who already possess a Membership Card.

The Masterclass is held in Italian.
