Myself is Another with Yasmine Hugonnet
On the occasion of the collective exhibition ‘Dancing with Myself’, currently on view at Punta della Dogana, the museum presents a cycle of talks and screenings dedicated to the question of identity and curated by Annalisa Sacchi e Ilenia Caleo.
"Myself is Another" is a cycle of talks dedicated to the performing arts conceived as an opportunity for invention, proliferation, incarnation and camouflage of the identity. The artists, researchers and curators invited to participate underline how contemporary performance can be an artistic practice able to redefine and put on stage the relationship between politics and activism.
The choreographer, dancer and researcher Yasmine Hugonnet, is at the Teatrino for a talk with Piersandra Di Matteo, researcher, playwright and curator of performing arts.
Yasmine Hugonnet is the founder of Arts Mouvementés and her research focuses on posture and presence.
At 9 pm, the filmic version of the solo Le Récital des Postures, a choreography by Yasmine Hugonnet, is screened at the Teatrino (50').
