Presentation of Griots
Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi
The Venetian association Griots celebrates the publication of the first issue of the bilingual and intercultural magazine GRIOTS, which deals with stories of people who come from around the world and have decided to live in Italy, and of people who have decided to leave Italy to go live in another country. The participants of the 2021 edition of Altri Sguardi are the special guests of this talk.
After a lively and varied overview of the activities proposed by the team of Griots - including the mapping of a local network of people and places to meet in Venice, the talk will continue with some guest organisations that deal with migration issues, giving life to a round table where the protagonists will present their projects.
Participants to the talk:
Erika Mattio, Mohamed Kaba, Marco Lupieri, Anna Vercellotti: Griots
Beppe Caccia, Monica Paolini: Mediterranea
Lorena Fornasir, Gian Andrea Franchi: Linea d'ombra
Loris Pietro Ramazzina: Refugees Welcome Veneto
Jelena Zivkovic: IntegrART
Amparito Aracely Moreno Cordova, Moustaou Arouna, Gilbert Kingsway, Andrea Paula Calderon, Julia Nunes Cordeiro: Project Altri Sguardi
In the foyer of the Teatrino, the audience will have the opportunity to discover the stories and the portraits of the participants of Altri Sguardi and their point of view on some of the photographs of Venice exhibited as part of the exhibition HYPERVENEZIA.
This talk is part of the initiatives that Palazzo Grassi dedicates to the theme of migrations.
